Hello! My name is Dana. I am a nurse educator and nursing faculty member with experience teaching Adult Health, Critical Care, Pharmacology, Leadership, and Transition to Practice. I have been a nurse for over 15 years, primarily in the emergency department and as a nurse educator in hospitals and nursing schools. I have taught in the classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical settings. I have a BSN from the University of Detroit Mercy and an MSN from Capella University. I am also a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) and a Certified Academic Nurse Educator (CNEcl). I have a passion for helping nursing students realize their potential, strengthen their clinical judgment, and build the confidence they need to succeed in nursing school, on exams, and in practice.
