About, Rachel Taylor

My name is Rachel Taylor I have experience in intensive care nursing and have always had a passion for education. This led me to being an Academic Success Tutor for a BSN program. From my experience there I became very passionate about test taking skills and test anxiety, an area I see many students struggle with. I love helping students find different tools to be successful. Rachel was an amazing tutor! She was very good at explaining everything, and answering any and all questions that we had. Also, making sure we had as much information as possible with the time that we had.

Rachel takes her time to explain any and everything the students may stumble on. She gives you numerous ways to remember these topics and makes sure that we all understand before moving onto the next topic. Her patience and thoroughness really gives me hope that I can succeed on my NCLEX-RN. Thank you for being such a great help, Rachel.

I am a second attempt NCLEX taker. Used Archer to prepare for my second attempt (used a competitor to study for my first attempt) and Archer was awesome! I passed the NCLEX. Thanks to Rachel’s help in creating a study plan, providing tips and teaching during small study group sessions, and providing sound guidance during private tutoring. She is skilled and adapts teachings to the individual or group. Thank for all you do and helping others succeed! Highly recommend her.

Rachel is truly the best with how she explains topics like Hypo vs. Hyper with the interpreting the labs. I always confused those two in endocrine. She is truly the best overall. The majority of my sessions with her and besides from Morgan I don't know who else can explain topics as easily as she does in a live session without me wanting to go to sleep. Lol. I highly recommend her.

I really enjoyed the small group tutoring with Rachel! She gave us ample time to answer each question on our own and then verified everyone understood the rationale before moving forward to the next question. I loved her tip about how to answer questions that say “Which patient is most at risk?” I will definitely be booking another session soon!

I pass my NCLEX. I took the test 21 March 2023. Brief summary on me I graduated nursing school 2013. From 2013 to present I have taken NCLEX 12 times. I have used a lot of resources such as Kaplan, Hurst, UWorld, simple nursing videos, Mark Klimek videos. None of them has helped me passed A friend of mine used Archer and he passed. I saw that Archer had one one tutoring and small group tutoring. That's how I found Rachel for my tutor. I booked a total of 6 weekly sessions with her. Not only is she really good at explaining things to make sure I understood it. She gave me homework to do. I felt like I was back in nursing school again. I followed everything she suggested for me to do. She explains it straight to the point Anytime I had a question I can just email her and she responds pretty fast. Rachel can tell that I would doubt myself a lot. She always gave me the positive reinforcement that I needed to hear. Having another person's voice tell you "You got this. You know the answers" really helped boost my confidence.
