• Key ideas and details - 15 questions
• Craft and structure - 9 questions
• Integration of knowledge and ideas - 15 questions
• Math - 57 minutes, 38 questions (34 scored and 4 unscored)
• Numbers and algebra - 18 questions
• Measurement and data - 16 questions
• Science - 60 minutes, 50 questions (44 scored and 6 unscored)
• Human anatomy and physiology - 18 questions
• Biology - 9 questions
• Chemistry - 8 questions
• Scientific reasoning - 9 questions
• English and Language Usage - 37 minutes, 37 questions (33 scored and 4 unscored)
• Conventions of standard English - 12 questions
• Knowledge of language - 11 questions
• Using language and vocabulary to express ideas in writing - 10 questions

• Sequence - Reading → Math → Science → English and Language Usage
• You are allowed to take a short, optional 10-minute break between the Math and Science sections. This break time is built into your overall examtime, so you won't lose any testing minutes while taking a break.
• It's important to note that while you can review and adjust answers within a section, you cannot revisit previous sections once you move on. So, strategically manage your time within each section.

• Scores are reported as percentages ranging from 0% to 100%.
• There are three main score types:
• Total Score: This reflects your overall performance on the entire exam. It's calculated based on the number of questions answered correctly, but also adjusted statistically (equated) to account for potential difficulty differences between different test versions. This ensures scores are comparable across different TEAS 7 forms.
• Content Area Scores: You'll receive individual scores for each of the four TEAS 7 sections: Reading, Math, Science, and English and Language Usage. Similar to the total score, these are percentages calculated and equated to ensure fairness across test versions.
• Sub-Content Area Scores: These scores provide a more detailed breakdown of your performance within each content area. They represent the percentage of questions answered correctly in specific sub-categories (e.g., Key Ideas and Details in Reading). Unlike the total and content area scores, sub-content area scores are not equated and shouldn't be compared across different TEAS 7 forms.
• Important Note: The TEAS 7 exam includes a mix of scored and unscored (pretest) questions. The total number of questions is 170, but only 150 contribute to your final score. You won't be able to identify which questions are scored or unscored during the exam.
• For a more comprehensive understanding of your strengths and weaknesses, consider all three score types. The total score offers a general picture, while content area scores pinpoint areas for improvement. Sub-content area scores provide the most specific feedback within each section.

• You will not be allowed to use any personal calculators during the exam.
• If you're taking the computerized version of the TEAS 7, there will be a basic four-function calculator accessible on the screen during the math section only.
• For the paper-and-pencil version, a four-function calculator will be provided by the testing center for your use during the math section.
