My name is Rebecca, and I have been a nurse specializing in critical care since graduating from nursing school. As a new graduate, I started in a Cardiovascular Surgical ICU, where I worked for many years as both a staff and travel nurse. The learning curve was steep, but I am so thankful for the experience I gained, which provided a solid foundation in critical care to take with me as I traveled to hospitals all over the country. Over the years, I have enjoyed caring for some of the most critically ill patients in the hospital, supporting and educating families and patients as they navigate their critical illnesses. CCRN mentoring may be helpful for you if: there are concepts that just won't click and you're looking for personalized explanation or you're struggling with answering questions and would like to go through them with a CCRN certified nurse while discussing various strategies and concepts. How does online mentoring work, and what technology do I need?
Online tutoring for CCRN preparation takes place via Zoom, where you will connect with your tutor in a live, interactive session. It’s recommended that your camera be on to ensure the tutor can focus on your individual needs and tailor the session to address your specific questions.
What is the cancellation or rescheduling policy for mentoring sessions?
Our policy reflects the value of the tutor’s time and dedication to providing individualized attention. If a student does not arrive within 15 minutes of the scheduled session, the tutor will consider the session forfeited, with no refund or rescheduling provided. We encourage students to be on time to make the most of their personalized experience. We do not allow for sessions to be rescheduled or transferred.
How do you tailor your mentoring to accommodate different learning styles?
We tailor our approach to accommodate a variety of learning styles by first assessing each student’s preferences. Whether you are a visual learner who benefits from diagrams, an auditory learner who prefers discussions, or a learner who needs hands-on practice, we use diverse techniques such as practice questions, interactive case studies, and more to enhance understanding. Our goal is to ensure that every student comprehends the material using methods best suited to their learning style.

Private mentoring is $75 per session. Payment methods include credit/debit cards and online payment platforms.
