Jaquetta Reeves, PhD, MS, BSN, RN, NP-C is an Assistant Professor and Nursing Research Scientist at the University of Texas in Arlington, TX. She teaches in the College of Nursing and Health Innovation Family Nurse Practitioner program. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Eastern Michigan University; a Master of Science degree in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialty from the University of Michigan; and a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing from Wayne State University. As a Family Nurse Practitioner of 13 years, her clinical practice is in adolescent and young adult health care, health promotion, and STI/HIV disease prevention.
