I've used archer videos and exams morethan other review subscriptions because of multiple reasons: the first reason was the videos - they did a great job breaking down system by system lectures with the feel of a "classroom setting" way of teaching instead of looking like a formal PPT presentation you get at others, the exam items are really good and almost similar to the nclex exam with good rationale, you get morethan your money's worth because you also have live case studies/lectures everyday. Overall, archer review really helped me build my foundations on nursing topics!

Hello great Nclex candidate's, Paul here from Kenya,I prepared as a private candidate(self sponsored).I am typing to let everyone preparing for the exam that Nclex is doable ,I used archers q bank and the rationales are really helpful to build up your content, that you need to think critically when tackling the real test.In about 4-6 months do 85 questions daily, revise rationales study the Saunders content and you'll succeed. About the exam itself prepare early by training the mind to do 150 questions so that if your test doesn't shut at 85 you'll have the ability to soldier on to the end.It was success to me ,its you next.cheers guys.

I notice some of them are not covered at the nursing school program, especially pharmacology, pediatrics and maternity. The Archer Review exam practices are very similar to the NCLEX exam. I scored consecutive 2 high and 3 very high on readiness assessments, passed 2 CAT exam practices and finished with 85 questions. Before I attended the NCLEX exam, I expected I would pass it. What is the Intense Prep program?

A structured, 6-week program with instructor supervision and feedback to guide students through studying for the NCLEX. It includes a comprehensive eBook, live lectures, on-demand lectures, small group workshops, feedback sessions, learning activities, question bank practice, and unlimited readiness assessments^.

How do the live and on-demand lectures work?

Students in Intense Prep have access to two 3-hour lectures per week. The option to join live allows them to interact and ask questions with our instructors in real time and keeps them on track by enhancing accountability. They can stream the same content on-demand anytime if they miss a lecture.

On-demand lectures review each component of the NCLEX in-depth and break down difficult concepts to help students understand ‘the why’ behind every topic. On weekdays, when students do not have a live lecture scheduled, they will be assigned an On-demand lectures.

What is a small group session?

Small groups are sessions dedicated to reviewing testing strategy, prioritization, delegation, select all that apply (SATA) questions, and other challenging subjects students often have questions about. With a cap of 20 students, students can get to know their tutor, build a relationship, and ask personalized questions. Small groups occur once per week, and multiple slots are open throughout the day to accommodate different schedules.

What is a feedback session?

Feedback sessions are your students’ time to bring questions to their tutor! Students will look at their learning assessment scores, share their progress with their tutor, and problem-solve anything that isn’t going well. Our tutors aim to help students figure out what’s not going well so that we can fix any issues and get them NCLEX-ready. Again, these groups are capped at 20 students so the tutor can talk to everyone.

What learning materials are included with Intense Prep?

Students receive an interactive eBook that contains all of their learning materials. It includes their 6-week schedule, lecture notes, flashcards, case studies, and worksheets. All materials can be downloaded as a PDF, which the student can fill out and take notes within or print out should the student choose. The eBook also links them to instructional videos and their Archer Review student dashboard, where they stream their on-demand videos, take practice questions, and launch learning assessments.

How often does Intense Prep Start?

How is the Archer Review question bank different?

Our question bank has over 1,500 practice questions, including traditional and NGN item types. They can be arranged by subject and lesson or by the areas of the NCLEX test plan to ensure students can customize their practice based on their individual study needs. All NCLEX-style questions, including alternate format and NGN items, are included. We emphasize understanding the why behind each answer choice in the rationale, so students gain a deeper understanding of the content as they utilize the question bank. Answer rationales also include images and videos for visual learners.

How do the Readiness Assessments work?

Students receive unlimited readiness assessments^. As long as they have unused questions remaining in the question bank, they can take a learning assessment. Our software pulls 85 questions from the appropriate client needs categories and creates a simulated 85 question NCLEX. At the end of the simulation, the student receives a predictor score telling them their chance of passing the NCLEX. The goal is to get 4 highs or very highs consecutively, which is an excellent indicator of your readiness to take the NCLEX exam.

How can students monitor their progress?

Students can monitor their progress through the statistics dashboard. This will give them a breakdown of how many questions they have answered correctly or incorrectly in each subject and lesson. After completing the assessment, they can further analyze each learning assessment by clicking ‘Test Analysis.’ This will provide graphs showing their progress in each subject and lesson. They will also see the number of times they changed their answer choice from correct to incorrect or incorrect to correct. Lastly, they may sort the questions from the learning assessment from easy to difficult to see at what point they started answering incorrectly.

How does Archer Review stay current with NCLEX changes?

Archer Review closely monitors all NCSBN communications. Updates are made quarterly to ensure students receive the most current, accurate review possible.

When should students enroll in Intense Prep?

The Intense Prep program is best for students with at least five hours per day to study and plan to take the exam in the next 2-3 months. We recommend students take the course at the end of their nursing school curriculum just before the NCLEX.

How does Archer Review differ from other reviews?
