I have been participating in the Archer review since early 2025, and I started focusing on the 6-week study plan. I faced challenges during my CAT, failing in 1 out of 8 exams. However, I achieved a reasonably high grade on the Reassessment Exam. After each test, I reviewed the rationales to understand my mistakes, and I utilized tutorials to address my errors. I also took the Exit Exam, a 150-question test, which I completed on my actual NCLEX-RN in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, on October 28, 2025. With God's blessings and guidance, I successfully passed the exam, especially considering that I am 50 years old. Most of the last 30 questions focused on prioritization, select-all-that-apply (SATA) questions, infection management, and safety. At the beginning of the exam, I encountered five case studies, with the very first question addressing dietary considerations.

Students in Intense Prep have access to two 2-hour live review lectures per week. The option to join live allows them to interact and ask questions with our instructors in real time and keeps them on track by enhancing accountability. Recordings are offered for all live lectures that the student is unable to attend.

How is the Archer Review question bank different?
Our question bank has over 1,600 practice questions, including traditional and NGN item types. They can be arranged by subject and lesson or by the areas of the NCLEX test plan to ensure students can customize their practice based on their individual study needs. All NCLEX-style questions, including alternate format and NGN items, are included. We emphasize understanding the why behind each answer choice in the rationale, so students gain a deeper understanding of the content as they utilize the question bank. Answer rationales also include images and videos for visual learners.

When should students enroll in Intense Prep?
The Intense Prep program is best for students with at least five hours per day to study and plan to take the exam in the next 2-3 months. We recommend students take the course at the end of their nursing school curriculum just before the NCLEX.
