I received my BSN from the University of Utah and started my nursing career in home health and women’s services. As my kids got older, I worked as the lead school nurse in a K-12 charter school, as a public health nurse, and in immunization clinics. My favorite part of nursing has always been teaching and patient education!
I have been a nurse since 2007 after obtaining my BSN right out of high school. I worked in pediatrics as a NICU staff nurse for many years before moving into emergency medicine. I found my passion for education in 2013 when I advanced my education with my MSN and most recently my DNP. I understand the pressures of nursing school while trying to manage a career and family. The stress of preparing and successfully taking the NCLEX is the most challenging part of your nursing career journey! I love helping students achieve their goals so let me help ease that stress and anxiety.
I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with my husband and 2 kids.

I graduated nursing school at the end of 2019, and with having a small baby at home and 2 failed attempts at the NCLEX I felt like it just wasn’t my time. As the years passed by I kept making excuses for why I hadn’t found some kind of refresher course, but I had a friend suggest Archer Review after having passed her NCLEX after being out of school for 10 years. I was truly inspired. I did some digging and decided I was going to give it a try. I followed the Intense Prep schedule, step by step, I did all the questions, I even took the extra Pharm class! I had never felt more confident and relaxed about taking my NCLEX this time. I took the notes, I made the flashcards and I am beyond proud to have those letters behind my name finally! The readiness assessments closely mimics the NCLEX style questions and prepared me tremendously. Being able to review rationales allowed me to refocus on weak areas and effectively use the provided cheat sheets. Additionally, the three- day live and the Sure Pass booklet further reinforced my knowledge and strengthened my overall preparedness.
